Get BMW Key Code with Autel IM608S II

How to get the BMW key code with Autel MaxiIM IM608S II Programmer? Here we provide 2 ways that can successfully read out BMW key code: Read through OBD or Read through EEPROM.

Method 1. Read via OBD

Plug Autel IM608S II connector into car OBD.

IMMO >> Accept >> BMW >> Automatic selection >> Read >> OK >> Yes >> Control unit >> CAS3/CAS3+ immobilizer >> Vehicle information

Check the ECU information, we can see the key mechanical code is HA00034520.

We’ll scrap the last digits: 34520

That’s the BMW key code what we’re looking for.
