In Autel high-end scanners, there is a new feature, topology mapping. Here we will explain how topology mapping works innovatively and provide an in-depth explanation of the functions and features of Autel scanner topology mapping.
Topology provides you with a high-level view of the layout, design, and behavior of your data bus configuration. Perform a scan and quickly see which modules are generating trouble codes.
Autel MS909, MS919, and Ultra series can support module topology mapping, allowing users to understand the status of all modules at a glance and easily troubleshoot problems.
Models and brands covered: Chrysler, Audi, Ford, General Motors (some models), BMW, Mercedes-Benz (some models), Volkswagen, Mazda, Hyundai, Kia, Porsche, Land Rover, Jaguar, Fiat, Subaru, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Mitsubishi, Tesla, Honda, Acura, Volvo
One page displays the status of each module and the number of DTCs
Easy-to-understand over-the-road truck wiring schematic showing communication structure between modules
Click to enter the system or module with the fault code
Zoom in and out to examine the color-coded modules
After the topology map is generated on the Autel scanner, different colors are used to distinguish the status of different modules. Blue means not scanned, green means passed, red means there is an error, and gray means skipped.
After troubleshooting and repairing the fault code, the error code can be erased from the topology map.
