Autel Scanner Software Authorization Error, What Should I Do?

Each Autel scanner has its corresponding software. Once a "software is not authorized" pop-up window appears, what should I do? How do I continue to use Autel scanners for me?

What should I do if I see an "Authorization" error?

A) Error message "Software not authorized!"

Problem: No matter which software you click on, you will see a pop-up with an error message.

solution:

Enter the ES file browser - scan the folder to check if there is an "authorization.txt" file; enter the ES file manager - scan - vehicles, enter each vehicle folder and check if there is an "authorization.txt" file; if Scan "authorization.txt" file is missing in the folder, but "authorization.txt" file is present in all other vehicle folders, please try to connect the tablet to the computer via USB cable; open the USB storage; disconnect the USB cable; click Diagnose , select any software and check again. If the above method does not work, you will need to renew and re-download all software.

B) "Authorization check failed! Error code: 1"

Issue 1: The above error message appears when you click on a specific software (such as Mini) on the Diagnosis menu;

solution:

Enter the ES File Manager - Scan - Vehicle, enter the corresponding vehicle folder, such as Mini, and check if there is an "authorization.txt" file in it? If not, please copy the "authorization.txt" file in the vehicle folder, BMW, Rolls-Royce, AstonMartin (must be the same software package when downloading) to the Mini folder;

*Note: BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin software are downloaded from the same package in the update list; other than BMW, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin in other vehicle folders The "authorization.txt" file will not work; check if the Mini software is back to normal? If it still doesn't work, you'll need to renew and download the software again. Problem 2: No matter which software is clicked in the diagnostic menu, the above error message will appear. Solution: Go to ES File Manager - Scan - Vehicle, enter the corresponding vehicle folder, and check whether there is an "authorizatuion.txt" file folder under each folder. ? If not, the only solution is to renew and re-download all software.

C) "Authorization check failed! Error code: 2"

Question 1: "Authorization check failed! Error code: 2" means that the serial number and registration password do not match.

If the device still has an active subscription, go to MaxiSys - Data Manager - Application Uninstall to uninstall all applications; run the update and download them again. If the device is subscribed, please go to "Settings" - "About" and send a screenshot of this page to our technical support to show them your device's serial number and registration password; collect and upload logs through MaxiTools.

Question 2: If you see Error Code 2: Incorrect Serial Number or Password, and when you enter the "About" section, you find that your serial number has changed to V09G00000131 and your registration password has changed to 056947, please follow the steps below :

Close the tool, wait 2 minutes, and then open it again;
