Both the MS909S2 and MS919S2 feature an 11-inch display and a 15,000mAh battery, striking a balance between portability and battery life, making them suitable for everyday diagnostic tasks.
In contrast, the Ultra S2 offers a larger 13.7-inch display and an 18,000mAh battery. This not only displays topology maps, data flows, and diagnostic reports more clearly on the same screen, but also supports extended, high-load use, making it more suitable for professional workshops and technicians who require extended use.
Both the MS909S2 and MS919S2 feature 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, sufficient for general diagnostic and data storage needs.
However, the Ultra S2 upgrades to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, ensuring storage of larger amounts of diagnostic records, software packages, and customer vehicle data. This is a valuable advantage for repair shops that need to maintain long-term repair history or process complex vehicle data.
The Ultra S2 has a larger screen, battery capacity, and storage.
The MS909S2 is equipped only with the MaxiFlash VCI2 and does not include an oscilloscope, making it suitable for standard diagnostics and ECU programming.
The MS919S2 and Ultra S2, on the other hand, feature the MaxiFlash VCMI2, a built-in 4-channel oscilloscope that supports oscilloscope, waveform recorder, and signal generator functions. This allows technicians to not only perform routine diagnostics but also conduct in-depth electronic circuit testing and signal analysis.
The MS909S2 and MS919S2 do not include a fast charging base and weigh 1656.5 g (3.65 lbs.), making them lighter overall and suitable for scenarios that require frequent movement.
In comparison, the Ultra S2 comes with a fast-charging dock, bringing its weight to 2115.4 g (4.66 lbs.). While less portable, its larger screen and higher-capacity battery provide longer battery life and a clearer diagnostic experience at fixed workstations, making it ideal for extended use in professional workshops.
The MS919S2 and Ultra S2 have a 4-channel oscilloscope for advanced diagnostics.
If you need a lightweight, cost-effective diagnostic tool, the MS909S2 is an excellent choice, sufficient for daily diagnostic and programming needs.
If you're looking for more advanced diagnostic capabilities, especially those requiring the use of an oscilloscope and more in-depth electronic testing, the MS919S2 is a better fit.
If you're a professional repair shop that values a large screen, extended battery life, and increased storage, and wants efficient diagnostics at a fixed workstation, the Ultra S2 is undoubtedly the best choice.
Each of these three products has its own niche, allowing you to choose the one that best suits your budget, usage scenarios, and functional requirements.
