Can I Replace The Autel Scanner's Touch Screen Myself?

What should I do if the touch screen is damaged during use of the Autel scanner?

It doesn't matter, we will tell you how to replace the touch screen of your Autel scanner manually.

Note: Before replacing the Autel scanner's touch screen, you must restore the Autel scanner and flash the scanner to the free system program version.

Correct steps to disassemble and assemble the Autel scanner tool:

Prepare tools: Make sure you have the right tools, such as screwdrivers, plastic separation tools, etc.

Turn off the scanner: Before starting to disassemble, make sure the scanner is completely turned off and disconnected from the power source.

Remove the casing: Carefully remove the scanner casing according to the guidelines provided by Autel. This may involve unscrewing screws, detaching cables, etc., so use caution to avoid damaging other components.

Replace the touch screen: Locate the original touch screen's connector and carefully disconnect it. Then, connect the new touch screen to the corresponding interface.

Reassembly: After making sure the touch screen is properly connected, reassemble the scanner in reverse order. Make sure each component is installed correctly and fasten connections such as screws.

Test and debug: Reconnect power, turn on the scanner, and test that the touch screen is functioning properly. If everything works fine, you have successfully replaced the touch screen.

Although everything seems simple, we still recommend that non-professionals do not dismantle and assemble it by themselves!

Replacing the scanner screen is not as simple as applying a screen protector to the scanner. You need to be extremely careful not to damage any parts during the disassembly and reassembly of the scanner casing!
